Our genes may help women's emancipation but make both men and women head for extinction.
1. EQUAL POWER OF WOMEN AND MEN
Our genes fully allow for equal power among women and men.
For about 7 million years, they have shared in the evenings what they collected during the day, women from their plant domain and men from their animal domain. Both sides contributed to the survival of the tribal group.
This is deeply engrained in our genes.
Now look at the rise of farming over the last 12,000 years. That’s only about 1 permille of the entire human evolution, in terms of millions an extremely short period.
Yes, men pushed women out of their plant domain and grabbed power. But the underlying genes didn’t change alongside with the rise of patriarchy. The tribal genes live on under the layer of cultural change. There’s ample evidence about their survival available.
2. EXTINCTION OF HUMANITY
It’s our genes, that once helped us survive, now drive us to the termination of our existence.
When humans had overexploited their local resources, they just used to move on to greener pastures.
This went on for about 7 million years and the habit is deeply engrained in our genes.
Nowadays, we know that greener pastures will be going extinct. But genes do quickly listen to messages of science.
Genes make humanity head for extinction.
